Paul L. Gumina, Attorney at Law
Mr. Gumina received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1992, where he was a member of the McAuliffe Law Honor Society (top 10% of his class) for three years in a row. He also received two American Jurisprudence Awards for outstanding legal scholarship, and was a member of the U.S.F. Law Review. Mr. Gumina was admitted to the California State Bar in 1992. His practice has focused primarily on all phases of business law and litigation, including the creation of new business entities and business start-ups, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions, commercial collections, and complex business litigation. Mr. Gumina has successfully litigated numerous business fraud cases brought by corporations against former officers and employees. Mr. Gumina represents local, national and international companies in California in all aspects of their business and legal operations, including employment law and litigation, real estate transactions and litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage, eminent domain, zoning and land use law. Mr. Gumina currently serves as General Counsel for a number of high-tech companies in California.
Robert A. Arthur, Of Counsel
Mr. Arthur earned a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and served for two years as legal counsel for Samsung Group in Seoul, Korea. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1989, and he is currently the Managing Partner of Arthur and Associates, Attorneys at Law in San Jose, California. Mr. Arthur's practice focuses on business contracts, corporation law, international tax planning, intellectual property rights, employment law, and litigation matters.
Jennifer B. Gardner
Jennifer Gardner earned a degree in Political Science in 1983 from University of California at Los Angeles, and her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University in 1987. Since graduating from law school, she has practiced law as an associate with the renowned entertainment litigation firm of Lavely & Singer, before founding her own law firms as a partner at McPherson & Grossblatt and most recently, Gardner & Booth. For over 20 years Ms. Gardner has represented entrepreneurs and enterprises of all sizes in business litigation matters, focusing on real estate, entertainment, employment, ecommerce and technology disputes. She has tried numerous cases in both State and Federal Courts. Ms. Gardner has served as a member of the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations dedicated to promoting arts education and international art exchange -- Theatre of Hearts Youth First and Common Ground. In 2004, she founded Global Artists Management to provide representation and management for international film makers and visual artists based in the United States and in Europe. In 2006, she founded AstroText!, which focuses on mobile communications and entertainment, internet publishing and on-line marketing. Since 2002, Ms. Gardner has served as an Arbitrator and a Hearing Officer for the Los Angeles County Civil Service and Employee Relations Commissions.
